Paper Money Organizations 

Several organizations can help the individual who would like to know more about US obsolete notes.

The Society of Paper Money Collectors

This organization is the best for information about US obsolete notes. Its journal Paper Money is excellent.

The American Numismatic Association

While not specifically about paper money, the ANA has an excellent reference library available by mail to its members. Cost is only reimbursement of postage and insurance.
